The Capital Area Muslim Bar Association unveiled its new logo at the Annual Ramadan Iftar Dinner at Crowell & Moring on June 24, 2015. The logo was developed to create an identifiable brand that aligns with our long-term vision for this bar association.
The CAMBA logo evokes the image of the Supreme Court to represent that we are: 1) legal professionals, 2) based in Washington D.C., 3) with a Muslim identity. The five pillars of our faith are seamlessly reflected in the number of courthouse columns, reinforcing the notion that the pursuit of justice – inherent to American and Muslim ideals – is in fact a singular endeavor for our legal professionals. Our vision is that one day we will be a comparably influential institution in the legal community. The font displays breaks in continuity except for the letter M, signifying that Muslims are unified and strong.
The logo's image, colors, and font all converge to illustrate the identity of our bar association: Muslim American legal professionals based in our nation's capital.
